International Men’s Day: Fashion Show Extravaganza
The Flamboyant, known for its glam interiors and animated nightlife, celebrated International Men’s Day with a fashion walk. The occasion marked the launch of Roy Calcutta’s casual menswear line. The label by designer Abhisek Roy, known for its signature dhoti-punjabi looks, featured in this collection an array of effortlessly stylish pieces, including wrap shirts, solid straight kurtas, and palazzo pants. The event was graced by actor Prosenjit Chatterjee, who took part in the celebration by cutting the celebratory cake alongside the actors and models who sported the collection on the ramp. Glimpses from the evening:

Actors Anindya Chatterjee, Rezwan R Sheikh, Mainak Banerjee and Indrasish Roy walked as showstoppers for Abhisek, dressed in wrap shirts and his signature kurtas in fall hues of black, maroon and shades of blue.

Prosenjit Chatterjee dropped by as a special guest and was felicitated by Flamboyant founder Keya Biswas (left). “The Flamboyant arranged a wonderful evening to celebrate International Men’s Day. Young actors from our industry walked for Abhisek. I have a very good relationship with Abhisek and I really love his work. This year, I walked for him at a national platform. His brand has a signature. It is a proud moment for us that the contemporary fashion designers are taking Bengal’s fashion beyond borders and we must encourage them,” said the veteran actor. Talking about the celebration of International Men’s Day, he further added: “Men and women both are important in our lives and in the society. The only thing that I keep saying to everyone is to be patient and celebrate love. Peace and love are very important in the times we are living in.”

Prosenjit cut the cake, joined by The Flamboyant founder Keya Biswas, Abhisek Roy, and the actors and models who walked the ramp. “International Men’s Day gave us the perfect opportunity to celebrate men with the same attention, style and spirit that we celebrate women with. As a woman, I have always believed in giving men the recognition they truly deserve because they are equal pillars of our society. Our collaboration with Roy Calcutta brings together fashion, food and culture in a way that feels truly flamboyant,” said Keya Biswas, founder and director, The Flamboyant.
