Ranking all 32 teams’ jerseys from worst to first

NFL uniform catalogs are one of the most subjective topics that the league has. Opinions of the jerseys, pants, helmets, etc. will always vary depending on who’s asked. Some people like the old-school look of the early NFL days, and some like the more modern look.

There are always going to be new uniforms added across the league. Some of them will be brand new, some of them will be fresh rebrands, and a handful may be some combination of both.

From the worst catalog of outfits to the best, this is a countdown of every team:

When they were the Washington Football Team, they had one of the best setups around. However, their new look since becoming the Commanders isn’t great. They have a great color scheme that can work with some improvements.

The Indianapolis Colts have an awesome logo, but their uniform catalog as a whole leaves a lot to be desired.

30. Green Bay Packers

Only the Athletics of Major League Baseball have figured out a way to make green and yellow (or gold) work well. The Green Bay Packers are not well-dressed unless it is their road jersey with white pants.

29. New York Jets

Every since their newest rebrand, the New York Jets haven’t been dressed to impress. Their putrid play over the years hasn’t helped their case.

The New York Giants have a classic look that keeps them out of last place, but they could use a more modern feel to their old classics.

The Cleveland Browns have so much potential, but they fail to get the most out of their all-time classic franchise look.

The Arizona Cardinals could do so much better. They have an awesome name, cool colors, and a great logo. It’s time for them to improve.

25. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans don’t have the worst uniform setup of all time; they just are a bit boring. Although it’s debatable whether or not it is fair that they wear them, their Houston Oilers uniforms save them from being at the very bottom.

24. Dallas Cowboys

Like the Titans, the Dallas Cowboys have a very bland setup. For being America’s Team, you’d think that they would surround that Cowboy star with something better.

The Houston Texans don’t get the most out of the cool color scheme that they have. It isn’t the worst, but they could do better.

The Detroit Lions use a very cool shade of blue. However, they have too much silver/gray twisted into their uniforms. If they found a way to get away from that, there are all sorts of interesting possibilities.

Another team that could do better without all of that silver/gray is the Carolina Panthers. Like the Lions, their color scheme without it would be great.

The Jacksonville Jaguars don’t do a lot of winning, which taints their overall look. But the black and teal will always have its place in the NFL.

19. Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are a mixed bag. Some of the things they’ve done over the years look very nice. Others have been a flop. The neon green is an example of a success, and more teams should think like them.

18. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have some of the best helmets in the NFL, whether it is their current or retro look. The uniforms that match them could be better, but it is hard to argue with red and black.

17. Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams have improved their look a lot since moving to Los Angeles from St. Louis. As long as they continue using the blue with yellow (gold), they will have solid NFL uniforms. The iconic helment makes things better, too.

The Miami Dolphins play half of their schedule in red-hot Miami. Using the color scheme that they do to combat that is genius. Their mint-green home jerseys are always cool to see on TV.

15. New England Patriots

The post-Tom Brady New England Patriots have an upgraded look. The classic helmet will always play, as will their new-look jerseys. All of their retro gear is elite, as well.

14. Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders are a true black and silver colored team. It allows them to sport one of the slickest looks in the NFL.

13. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers have sharp home and away jerseys. Their classic logo makes the old-school football jersey look even better.

12. Kansas City Chiefs

A bright red mixed with a bright yellow has looked very nice on the Kansas City Chiefs over the years. Although that color scheme may make some folks hungry, it shines for the Chiefs.

11. Pittsburgh Steelers

Like all of the men’s pro sports teams in Pittsburgh, the Steelers sport the black and yellow look. Their classic black helmet with the logo on just one side is incredibly unique to them, too.

No team in the NFL may be put on a higher pedestal due to their throwback uniforms more than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Their homes and aways are beautiful, too, but there is something special about that creamsicle jersey with the old-school logo.

Black and purple. The Baltimore Ravens do it right. Their black-on-black with a hint of purple may be the best in the NFL. Even their purple and white jerseys work very well with the classic black helmet.

8. Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles look good and play good these days. The throwbacks are incredibly important to their high-ranking, but even the regular green is amazing.

The navy and orange of the Chicago Bears is iconic. Inspired by the University of Illinois, the Bears have a great old-school look that never goes out of style.

6. Minnesota Vikings

Nobody, maybe in sports, embraces purple more than the Minnesota Vikings. Other teams use it, but they do it the best. Their helmets, purple home jerseys, and pants are among the best in the league. Even their white roads always look clean.

The Buffalo Bills are bringing back the red helmet in 2025, which gets them bumped up into the top-five. Regardless of what they’re wearing from their catalog, however, the Bills will be dressed for success.

We’ve mentioned a few teams that are elevated by their throwbacks. The Denver Broncos are certainly one of them. Their orange jerseys with the blue helmets are so great to see every handful of weeks. All of their jerseys are special.

3. New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have a darker shade of gold to go with the black. When they wear their black on black while going up against a division rival in New Orleans, it is hard to find a better jersey matchup in the game.

The orange and black combo doesn’t always work, even outside of football. However, the Cincinnati Bengals nailed it in every aspect. Their black homes and white roads look amazing. Their iconic orange helmet with Black tiger stripes makes it even better. Their alternate white-out uniform, which includes a white helmet with black stripes, is one of the best out there.

1. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers have the best uniform setup in the NFL. It has been that way for a long time. The powder blue color bouncing off the yellow gold is perfect. Having a white helmet with the yellow lightning bolt is classic.
